Quran, A Revolutionary Message

 Quran Majeed, indeed, is the final divine scripture revealed by the Almighty Allah as a complete code of life and a means of guidance for entire mankind. It is a majestic miracle that Allah has preserved it till doomsday as Allah has taken Himself the responsibility of its protection. The Holy Quran has different status. First of all, it is a book of guidance. It contains heavenly guidance for all who seek enlightenment towards a straight path. It is a complete code of life in each and every aspect. By practicing its commands, the success of both the worlds is assured. This Holy book is in true aspect, a heal for spiritual ailments. Believing in this Holy book and implementing its behest bring about ascension in both, worldly life and the hereafter. Deviation from its commandments will cause humiliation, disgrace and instability in the sight of Allah as well as in this world. All these characteristics of the Holy Quran were not exclusive merely with the prophetic age, rather all these characteristics will be on effect efficiently and perfectly till apocalypse. And this is one of the greatest miracles of Quran.     

Allah provided His special assistance to the Prophets and Messengers by giving them various miracles to confront the Batil (Falsehood). A study of the life of Prophets shows that each and every Prophet was endowed with a distinct Mojezah (miracle). The sole purpose of these miracles from Almighty Allah was to counter the challenges put by the pagans and the polytheists to the prophets, or to complete the proof against them. Whenever, the call of Islam was presented by the Prophets to the Pagans and Polytheists, and that, only Allah had sent them to show the brilliance of Islam and to bring them out of the darkness of paganism and polytheism, they argued that  how could a man like us be a Prophet or Messenger. And they questioned their genuineness whether they possessed any special features or attributes due to which Allah had chosen them for prophethood, instead of them? And they challenged that if you are truly a prophet as you claimed, show us some evidence of your Prophethood, or else you and we are equal human being. Thus, Miracles were given to the prophets by Almighty Allah on such demands of the disbelievers and polytheists. And sometimes miracles were given to the prophets by Allah Himself without the demand of the disbelievers and to let the disbelievers know that they were indeed the chosen prophets or messengers of Allah. In spite of this, some pagans and polytheists existed in every age who, after seeing these miracles, called the Prophet a crazy, lunatic or magician. Those who did not believe not only denied the invitation but also leveled baseless accusations against the prophets and messengers.

The last Prophet of Allah, Muhammad (S) was also bestowed with such miracles. The brightest and the clearest of all miracles is the Final Book of Allah, Almighty, Al-Quran, which was not only a miracle in Rasulullah’s (S) age but rather, it is the miracle today too and will be forever with its transparent miraculous position till the day of Judgment.  

There are three stages of the Quran justifying its miracle. Firstly, it has reached on the peak of loftiness in terms of its literacy, eloquence, oratory and expressiveness. No human words can be imagined more literate, eloquent, expressive, profound and full of wisdom than the words of Allah, Al-Quran on the surface of earth. It is beyond human intellectual in its unparalleled formation of sentences, selection of captivating words with their melodious and harmonious voice, and its profoundness on the hearts and human souls. Quran, the live miracle exists with all its beauty, attraction, perfection and magnetism to such a high position that cannot be imagined by human intellectual. Secondly, the divine guidance of the Quran, is a directive in all ages and eras, having solution of contemporary issues, let them be individual, communal, political, social or economical. And it provides solutions in such a manner that is pure of exaggeration and understatement, nearest to the center of just. These are the only teachings of Islam, without whose adoption, the concept of establishment of the religion Islam and its domination in the world is flawed and incomplete. It is an extremely unfortunate for today's Muslims that despite having divine solution of every contemporary problem, thye have been bewildering others with abasement, spreading lower hands. 

Thirdly, Quran is the only source of all existing scientific knowledge or the future knowledge, if it would be contemplated in an appropriate manner. For, many similar (Mutashabeh) verses of Quran have become crystal clear because of modern science today. They are now much clearer and brighter that they could be a source of solid evidence of its legitimacy and being a miracle, make the faith of the believers firm in their hearts. 

In this respect, the message of Quran is not limited to the prophetic age or followed good ages, rather its message is equally important for the last coming human on the earth and its guidance is as comprehensive as for the earlier people. That's why Quran is not merely a book; rather it's a complete nomothetic and a revolutionary message.
