Remembrance of Allah is greatest

Allah created everything and everyone in this vast and magnificent universe in a glorious way. He alone is the creator, sustainer, cherisher and supreme patron of all. Every morning His every creation would glorify Him in different ways and forms. For Him only is the entire kingdom and all kinds of praise. Have you ever contemplated why His creation begins glorifying Him every morning? What makes them invigorated and refreshed with the rising of sun every day? It is only the remembrance of Allah, as Allah says in Surah Ankaboot “And the remembrance of Allah is greatest”.
We human beings, the best of Allah’s creation were created with the sole purpose to worship Allah alone. He has set His worship and remembrance as the vital target of human’s life. That means each and every human being is born only to worship Allah alone. Now, have we ever considered how many of us engage ourselves in fulfilling the target of our life? How many of us do wake up in the morning for Fajr Salah, that is nothing except the remembrance of Allah, the main target of our life? It is complex to get the answer in a positive way, because we have become so absorbed in this worldly life, we have no time left for the remembrance of Allah. As soon as we wake up every morning, we do remember everything except the Dhikr of Allah. This indicates that we are living our lives having no solid target of our creation, thus we forget or neglect remembrance of Allah unlike every creation which does remember Him every day.
I would like to uncover the bitter truth here by citing an example. If you cast a glance towards anything of this world, surely you will find it playing an inevitable role for its existence. It has a specific place and importance of its own. But in case, if it stops performing its duty, only once or twice, the efforts and reformation would be made to restart or make it work. But, if the same fault happened again, & again, it would be removed permanently without even considering its previous service or importance. Do you know why? Because, now it’s good for nothing.
The same rule applies to human being also. We all were created with a specific purpose. That was nothing except to worship Allah alone. If we stop performing our duties towards Allah S.W.T then the equity of Allah required the same action to be taken against us also. But out of His abandunt mercy He sent time and again many prophets to remind us the true purpose of our life. And another favour, He also sent His sacred books to make us realize our duties and responsibilities towards our Creator. Simultaneously, Allah’s other creation remind us by their glorification in the early morning every day. If we still fail to understand the true purpose of our life, and don’t engage ourselves in remembrance of Allah, then Allah has definitely the power to eliminate us and bring those who will perform the duties better, in a befitting manner.
It’s only a reminder to all of us, not an accusation to anyone. Lastly, I take this opportunity to put into practice myself first, then a reminder to others. May Allah SWT grant us Taufeeq to engage ourselves in His remembrance & worship from the core of our hearts and make our fate everlasting pleasure of Allah (Allah ki Raza). Ameen.
